Mad House | Charity House Concert

My last semester at Bradley, I organized a charity house concert that was able to raise money for a greater cause while also showcasing the universities musical talent. I created this event by working closely with the Bradley music studio, designing merchandise, and marketing across various social media platforms.

The event, "Mad House", took place on April 1st 2016. The local charity that I decided to raise money for was Dream Center Peoria, a non-profit geared towards positively impacting underprivileged families in the Peoria community. Specifically, the money raised would go towards a new music studio they were building to teach children about the recording process.

In total, the event was able to raise $900 towards Dream Center Peoria through merchandise sales, donations at the show, and a GoFundMe that was live streamed on Facebook. The studio is currently in construction.

Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity

Executive Member

My senior year at Bradley, I was elected to serve on the executive board of my fraternity, Lambda Chi Alpha. This 7 member committee was responsible for the future security and success of the Bradley chapter by reviewing, approving, and enforcing policies that held members to their highest standards.

Meeting on a weekly basis, matters ranged from budget review to assisting members struggling academically or financially. Transparency was regarded with high concern and all affairs were summarized to the general fraternity during chapter. Alongside this, the board encouraged an open door policy, where members were able to address concerns or suggest improvements.

Overall, the board was able to implement a successful budget for the fall 2015 semester. During this term, the committee was also able to enact a scholarship program that awarded members who significantly impacted the chapter by waiving their dues for a semester. The program is still currently in place.
