Being the voice of 911
While working for the Air Force in Utah, I was able to pick up a part-time position at the local police department as a 911 dispatcher. Being the emergency lifeline for the community was by far one of the most rewarding opportunities I have been a part of. With no one call being the same as the last, each shift offered a new challenge in priority decision making under highly stressful situations.

A Fraternity Built on Service
I joined Alpha Phi Omega my junior year at Bradley in search of an organization that was centered on service. During my time as a member, I helped raise funds and participated in the "2nd Annual Bradley Color Run," a non-profit geared towards supplying developing countries with safe drinking water. I also volunteered at local churches and helped raise money for individuals suffering from mental disorders and worked with the Boy Scouts of America.

Naught Without Labor
Lambda Chi has played a significant role in shaping me into the man that I am today. It was also a fraternity very involved with philanthropy in the Peoria community which offered me the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of charitable events. I helped host the annual “Watermelon Bash” charity fundraiser. All of the proceeds were donated to “Feeding America,” an organization geared towards U.S. hunger relief. I also helped raise money for and participated in “Soldier Dash,” a 5K obstacle course where all proceeds are donated to disabled veterans.
